Satake Kids child knife & cut-resistant mitten from Satake is a thoughtful set that lets children participate in cooking more safely. The knife’s shape is inspired by Japanese nakiri knives with a sharp edge ground at a Japanese angle and a blunted tip to reduce the risk of injury. The grippy handle is printed with Japanese characters meaning Child Chef and the heel of the blade prevents the hand from sliding forward. The included cut-resistant mitten protects fingers during cutting and when using a mandoline or grater and is machine washable. An adult should always supervise use.
