The Rosenthal Heritage Midas cup with saucer bears an ornate golden pattern in the form of myriad leaves and branches. The design shimmers with both matte and glossy aesthetics to give the piece a radiant and three-dimensional expression. The matching cup and saucer were designed by Gianni Cinti, who named the collection after King Midas — according to Greek mythology, everything King Midas touched would turn instantly to gold.
