The Herit chair in black oak from Normann Copenhagen was originally designed by Simon Legald. The piece is a gorgeous exemplification of Danish design heritage. It bears such a striking homage to the form and aesthetic of the discipline that it is named after the word "heritage" as a symbol of its traditional roots. Legald wanted to create a versatile yet highly durable chair that would fit in a modern home. Inspired by iconic Danish design, the chair incorporated traditional hallmarks of form and figure but now cast in new, innovative materials. The combination of materials is what really sets the Herit apart from other chairs — the body is made of moulded plastic with a solid core of foam and stately wooden legs. Its modern design offers a comfortable curve on the backrest that follows the natural contours of the body while also providing exceptional overall seating comfort.
