The glass is mouth blown. Air bubbles and differences in thickness may occur.
The glasses in the Tapio white wine glass 18 cl 2-pack from Iittala have a beautiful silhouette with a characteristic glass bubble in the stem. The hand-blown white wine glasses were designed in 1954 by the Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala, who invented the now well-known pipe glass blowing technique in the previous year. This technique involves creating a glass bubble using a wet stick. The elegant white wine glasses are perfect for dinner with your partner and special occasions with friends. Complete your collection with other glasses in the Tapio collection, a collection that has been on the market longer than any other Finnish glassware.
