Snow lantern & Moomin’s Day 2018 Moomin plate set from Finnish Arabia are two plates made of durable vitreous porcelain featuring Moomin motifs. The collector's plates Snow Lantern and Moomin's Day 2018 complement previously released mugs with illustrations from Tove Jansson's beloved world.

The Snow Lantern collector's plate motif was introduced in 2007 and depicts a scene after the Moomintroll's awakening from his winter slumber and when he, together with his friends Too-ticky and Little My, learns to appreciate the winter. The illustration is originally from Tove Jansson's "Moominland Midwinter" from 1955, with only Little My in the foreground drawn by Tove Slotte afterwards.

The Moomin's Day collector's plate illustration is from the motif released for Moomin's Day in 2018 and shows Moomintroll nestled in Moominmamma's embrace. It is a quiet moment, and they sit alone together in the sunset.
