The Pleated blender from Alessi is a functional and sculptural blender designed by Michele De Lucchi for the Alessi Plissé collection. Inspired by the pleated details of the fashion world, it works as well as a kitchen tool as it does a decorative piece on the counter — a small everyday artwork. With five speeds and a pulse function, it handles everything from crushing ice and chopping nuts to making purées, sauces, homemade mayonnaise or baby food.
