The classic floral Pieni Unikko fabric was designed by Maija Isola for Marimekko. The iconic pattern was created back in 1964 and was an immediate success, even though the founder of Marimekko Armi Ratio had at first banned all floral patterns from Marimekko prints. Pieni Unikko has slightly smaller poppy flowers than the original print and the fabric is perfect for sewing curtains, room dividers or a tablecloth for a colourful table setting!
